Capstone Magazine
Capstone is an anthology of long-form researched articles written, produced and published by students in Capilano University’s CAPS 499 class. These articles feature the ideas that are most critical, inviting, moving or interesting from students’ work as undergraduates at Capilano University in North Vancouver, Canada. Each paper includes a personal narrative, primary and secondary research, and conclusions based on thoughtful analysis. Welcome to Capstone!

Our Students
Students from various faculties have come together to create this Capstone community. From psychology, criminology, science and humanities, students involved in Capstone are encouraged to reach across disciplines to research areas from multiple perspectives. Faculty Advisor Leah Bailly mentored the CAPS 499 classes from 2022-2024.

Our Projects
The objective for this project is to reflect on the interdisciplinary work that made up students’ research area of interest, and to produce a publishable long-form piece of writing that can be used as a portfolio piece in the next stages of their careers. We invite you to engage with student work in the spirit of care and community engagement.
